Nonetheless, I found this book to contain valuable new perspectives on the Justice. This is a collection of items chosen by RBG and Professor Amanda L. Tyler (a former clerk), of the U.C. Berkeley law faculty and finalized shortly before her death. It includes some of her favorite cases, a long public interview at Berkeley, a tribute to her longtime collaborator Professor Herma Hill Kay, some candid views regarding her husband, several of her bench announcements and dissents, and a few of her later speeches. As we all know, there is nothing more sparkling than when Ruth speaks for herself--and there is a lot of that here. ( Reviewed in the United States on March 24, 2021 )
